Submission Guidelines

Cover Letter Requirements: A digitally signed cover letter attesting to the manuscript's uniqueness and exclusivity must be included with the submission to NOUMJ. The letter must clearly state that the work has not been published in any language, is not currently under review elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any other journal while under consideration by NOUMJ. The letter must also confirm that each of the listed authors has read and accepted the completed article and contributed significantly to the study.
In the letter, author(s) must suggest three eligible reviewers who could offer unbiased assessments, along with information on their institutional affiliation and email address. They should be knowledgeable in the field, but they should not have any personal or professional ties to the authors that could skew their judgment.
Manuscript Components
- Title Page: The title page of the manuscript should include the title of the paper and all the authors' full names, institutional affiliations, and country of residence, including phone numbers and email addresses. One author should be identified as the corresponding contributor, serving as the main point of contact throughout the publication process.
- Manuscript's Title: Should be clear and interesting for readers, accurately capturing the study's topic while avoiding technical jargon unless absolutely required.
- Keywords: Authors must provide 4 to 6 keywords, separated by semicolons.
- Other Details: Guidance according to the type of contribution is provided already. Any additional details will be as per the Editorial Board's guidance.
Reference and Citation Guidelines
NOUMJ issues referencing and citation guidelines, including relevant templates and formats. While following such guidelines, authors should:
- Cite selectively, including only references essential to support key claims and contextualize the research.
- Use reference management tools if required to ensure formatting accuracy and consistency.
- Verify all citations against original sources to prevent errors.
Discipline-Specific Referencing Templates:
- Management, Law, and Social Science: Must follow the latest and updated American Psychological Association (APA) style, or Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation for legal-based papers.
- Science, Health, and Technology: Must follow the latest and updated Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) citation style for Science and Technology papers, or the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style for Health Science papers.
